Superintendent Speaks on Coffeyville Bond Issue

Coffeyville School District voters are being asked to support a bond issue in a special election on September 6th.  District Superintendent, Dr. Craig Correll, speaking to the Coffeyville Rotary Club today explained that the bond would be used to upgrade the district’s facilities.  Correll said the high school and Middle School are almost 100 years old and the elementary school is now 15 years old, making maintenance a costly endeavor.

Correll says that if the bond is approved a home valuated at $50,000 would see an increase in taxes of $60 per year.
