The names of the two temporary city workers involved in yesterday's one-vehicle truck accident east of Independence have been released. 

Pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck was Taylor Lee Edwards, age 20. A second employee, Marty Ray Edwards, age 52, was also injured in the same accident and was taken to a medical facility for care. His condition is still unknown at this time.

In its crash report, the Kansas Highway Patrol said that the driver's side tire blew out. The vehicle then moved into the west bound lane and then into the ditch. The vehicle then rolled over several times on its passenger side before coming to rest on all four tires.

Both passengers in the vehicle were ejected during the crash.
