Work continues on US 169 in Montgomery County as crews finished asphalt patching last weekend. The road work starts about five miles north of the east U.S. 169/U.S. 166 junction at Coffeyville and continues north for 17 miles to the Montgomery-Labette County line.
To help with traffic, a pilot car and and flaggers are directing travelers through one lane during daylight hours. Delays of 15 minutes or less are expected. Workers will now begin mill and overlay work this week, with work taking place on weekdays and Saturdays through mid-October.
