Coach Flores From Media Days

Head Coach of the Coffeyville Community College Red Ravens football team spoke last week at the KJCCC media days. Coach Aaron Flores was out most of the off season recovering from a double lung transplant, though Flores states his staff kept him well updated over the off months and is very excited to get back. His staff updating him on the play through the spring and summer months as Flores says the chemistry between players and staff may be their biggest strength. Instead of everyone working against one another to make it to the next level, it’s been a team effort from top to bottom. Flores says he can’t wait to see this team build together with new and a few returners though he does note one area that may need immediate attention. Their special teams unit has had a lucky few years of great returning players, but that will not be the same for 2018 season. Flores says that will be one the major points of emphasis come camp and also wanted to take time for the support he has received from around the league for him and his family during his recovery.
