Bentley "Bud-bud "Bubby" Alexander Jones

Bentley “Bud-bud “Bubby” Alexander Jones age 2 of Cherryvale passed away on June 10, 2019

Bentley was born on January 8, 2017 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center the pride and joy of Drew and Tiffany (Layton) Jones. From his beginning he was a character, he loved everything about life. Some of his favorite things were playing outside, Pete the Cat, the sandbox; fire trucks also known as “Pepaw trucks”, police cars or “Nick cars” Blippi, “Batum”, and monster trucks. He loved seeing and playing with his entire family and he adored his Cousins. Bentley was a jokester, he was always laughing and even perfected a fake laugh and the slyest Popeye stare he used to make everyone around him smile and laugh. He was becoming a “big boy” even though he refused to use the “big boy potty” always saying NO when the subject came up, but he was going up the big slide by himself, even if it made mommy nervous. One of his most favorite places was right in the middle of Mommy and Daddy’s bed. He was an angel to everyone he met and his eyes always sparkled with life. Without a doubt he left a lasting impression on the hearts of everyone he knew. The world is a better place because Bentley was here.

Bentley’s memories will forever be cherished in the hearts of Mommy and Daddy Tiffany and Drew Jones, maternal Pepaw and Grandma Kenny and Amy Layton, paternal Papa and Nana Mike and Cindy Jones, Great-Pops and Memaw Joe and Karen Taylor, numerous great uncles, aunts, and cousins, and his best bud Maverick his Alaskan Malamute puppy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2:00pm at the Independence First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Bill Knight officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Caney. Friends are invited to sign the register and greet the family on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
