Sunflower State Games Still a Go in July

 

Registration is now open for the 31st Annual Sunflower State Games. The 2020 games will take place July 10-19 in Topeka and will feature over 40 different competitions for all ages and skill levels. Highlighting the 2020 Games will be the addition of two new sports, E-Sports and a Big Bass Fishing Tournament. Baker University as the new university partner and the host of E-Sports. The format will be two person team competing in Rocket League. Big Bass Fishing will be held at Melvern Lake and hosted by Flint Hills Bass Association. 36 different sports will be featured in 2020 including archery, disc golf, slow-pitch softball and many more.

 

In regards Covid-19 the Sunflower State Games staff and Board of Directors are actively working with the venues, partners, medical team, and all pertinent personnel in evaluating each of the sports and are continually monitoring the situation and staying up-to-date with state and federal recommendations for hosting events.
