Snack Smart

 

According to a Harvard School of Public Health study, one-third of Americans say they snack at least once a day. Some snack for an energy boost or for their diet, but boredom might be the most common reason. Nutrition Specialist Sandy Procter says eating because you're bored can lead to mindless eating.

 

Proctor says to make it more convenient to snack healthy use small Ziploc bags to store snacks, which can also help to prevent eating too much during snack-time.
