Cherryvale School Board Recognizes Student Achievement, Announces End of Year Activities

 

 At this week's USD 447 Cherryvale School Board meeting, building principals highlighted student achievement.

 Each school principal told the board about the great educational experience students had learning about and watching the recent solar eclipse. Cherryvale Middle-High School Principal James Renfro also recognized several students for their success at the recent KSHSAA Solo and Small Group Competition.

Renfro also recognized the girls four-by-one hundred relay team.

In other business, the board approved the purchase of 50 new Chromebooks to replace student and staff machines. Superintendent Travis Githens also updated the board on the district's capacity for out-of-district students. The current capacity is 960 students while current enrollment is 692.
