Wilson County begins to see official filings for the County position openings this year.

 

Commissioner Casey Lair has been approved to run for re-election, earning enough district signatures to qualify. County Clerk Kayla Busch also reports that Harold "Pete" Kuhn has been approved to run for Wilson County Sheriff.

 

Additional items of business at this week's commission meeting is the approval of a new laptop for the Clerk's Office, as well as the approval of a medicare evaluation service for the county health department.

 

The commission will meet next on April 24th at 9 a.m. in Room 101 of the County Courthouse in Fredonia.
