Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies and Independence Fire EMS respond to a reported stabbing incident at Independence Community College.

Deputies spoke with the students involved and determined that a fight had taken place. The injured party declined medical treatment and transportation to the hospital. Deputies are continuing to investigate the matter.

ICC has been fully cooperative with the ongoing investigation, and there is no evidence or information suggesting that there are any ongoing threats. This appears to be an isolated incident among students.
