A long-time business in downtown Independence is moving to a new location.
Magnolia Scents By Design will soon begin the process of moving into the Sayers Ace Hardware building at 314 North Penn Avenue.
Magnolia has been at its current location at 106 North Penn since the store first opened in 2008 by proprietors Brian Hight and Ryan McDiarmid. The shop specializes in soy candles in addition to handmade bath and body products, teas, herbs, spices and home décor.
Magnolia plans to complete the move by March 22, 2028, to mark the 20th anniversary of the store's original opening.
