The Parsons City Commission discusses e-bikes and safety.

 

At this week's meeting, City Manager Jeff Cantrell raised the issue of e-bikes and motorized scooters. He says the vehicles, which are popular with kids, have prompted concerned comments from residents.

 

Commissioner Eric Strait says he thinks the focus should be on safety.

 

Though no official action was taken, commissioners along with Police Chief Robert Spinks agreed to begin an education campaign in local schools to help educate Parsons kids.
