Coffeyville Community College falls short in their upset bid over Hutchinson losing 14-9.

The Red Ravens made a change out quarterback for their matchup with the #2 Blue Dragons as JR Martin got his first start of the season. Despite the change at QB, the offensive struggles continued with CCC not scoring an offensive touchdown in now two straight games. Martin was also benched in the third quarter for Isaiah Velez, who had started the previous three games.

The Red Raven defense continues to look good holding a Hutch offense that averaged 47 points a game to just 14, forcing and recovering four fumbles and scoring a touchdown on one of those fumbles. The loss puts the Red Ravens at 2-2 on the season and 2-2 in Jayhawk Conference play. CCC heads on the road to take on Ellsworth.
