Royals Bullpen Sharp in Win over Blue Jays

Royals pitching has been sharp for a majority of the opening month, but it's the bullpen who's stepping up lately.

The Kansas City bullpen has thrown 4.2 innings in each of the last two games, winning each game 3-2 over the Blue Jays.

Right-hander James McArthur has emerged as the team's closer this season. He says he's still adjusting, but ready to get big outs.

Starting pitcher Alec Marsh exited last night's game after being struck by a line drive off the arm. Manager Matt Quatraro says Marsh should be okay moving forward.

Marsh was placed on the 15-day injured list due to swelling in the arm, and will be replaced by prospect Will Klein, who is the team's No. 18 ranked prospect.
