Vickie Lee Cranor

Vickie Lee Cranor age 68 of Coffeyville, Ks stepped into eternal life surrounded by family in her home April 11th, 2021.

She was born May 13, 1952 in Coffeyville, Ks, daughter to Doss and Alberta Starnes. She attended elementary school at (Ol’) Parker school, and then on to Field Kindley High School, graduating in 1970.

On September 3rd, 1971 Vickie married Arthur Lee Cranor at the Coral Chapel in Miami, OK. This was the beginning of their biggest adventure. She held their marriage very near and dear to her heart, and always talked about hanging in there until they could celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. She was a devoted wife and mother, she was the glue that held her family together.

Vickie loved people, and showering others with friendship and care. She loved interacting with patrons at MoPac Credit Union for 20 years, knowing most account holders by name. The same rang true for when she was employed at Cash Advance and then later at PDQ PayDay Loans where she worked with her dearest lifetime friend Elaine VanWinkle.

She had the opportunity to be a member of several area churches at different times in her life, and loved the congregation at each one. She was often referred to as Ms Vickie, or Sister Vickie. She had the gift of praise, and song. She loved to sing, and was requested to sing for the church on many occasions. She volunteered to help with children’s ministry many times as she loved children and interacting with them, being active in the church brought her so much joy and purpose.

Vickie is proceeded in death by her son Aaron Lee Cranor, her parents Doss and Alberta Starnes. She is survived by her husband Arthur Lee Cranor, Coffeyville KS, her oldest daughter Kelly Ann Patterson and her husband Sean Patterson of San Antonio, TX, her middle daughter Amanda Lee Martin of Austin, TX, and her youngest daughter Rebecca Lynn Roland and her husband Jeff Roland of Tulsa, OK, two granddaughters and her sister Connie Smith of Coffeyville, KS.
