Moles are one of the biggest enemies to yards, pastures or any other grassy areas. K-State Wildlife Specialist Drew Ricketts says they can typically cause two types of damage. 

Ricketts says trapping provides the most success in eliminating moles.  Ricketts says toxicants can be used for removal but it isn't as effective as trapping. He says early springtime is one of the most common times for mole activity.
